Every year on June 3, World Bicycle Day is celebrated. In this context, the Ministry of AYUSH, along with health experts in India, emphasizes the numerous benefits of cycling. According to health professionals, regular cycling strengthens both physical and mental health. It is an exercise that can easily be incorporated into daily routines.
Cycling sharpens the mind and enhances alertness. Numerous studies have shown that daily cycling improves memory and increases concentration. It releases endorphins, often referred to as the happiness hormone, which alleviates stress, anxiety, and depression.
