West Bengal Class 12 Results Announced: CM Interacts with Top Students

Kolkata, May 14: The West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released the results for the Class 12 (Higher Secondary) board examinations for 2026 on its official website. This year, a total of 91.23% of students passed the West Bengal Intermediate Board exams.

Adrito Paul from the Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission topped the state with an impressive score of 496 out of 500. Among female students, Megha Majumdar from the Shrirampur Ramesh Chandra Girls High School secured the top position with 492 marks, achieving the fifth rank statewide.

In total, nine students made it to the top three ranks. Adrito Paul secured the first rank with 99.2%, followed by Jishnu Kundu, Ritobrata Nath, and Aitihya Pachhal, who all scored 99%. Five students achieved the third rank with 98.8%, including Debapriya Maji, Tanmay Mandal, Soumya Roy, Subhayan Mandal, and Pritam Ballav.

Following the announcement of the results, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari interacted with the top-ranking students via video call, extending his congratulations to both students and their parents.

Earlier, CM Suvendu Adhikari posted on the social media platform ‘X’, expressing, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all students who passed the Higher Secondary exams. Your hard work, dedication, and confidence have led to this success. May this achievement inspire you to dream even bigger in this important chapter of your life. I wish you a bright future, success in all areas of life, and to bring pride to your family, society, and state. Best wishes to all of you.”

It is noteworthy that the West Bengal Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 12 to March 27, with over 700,000 students registering to participate.
