Weather Changes in Uttarakhand: Rain and Snowfall Alert Issued
Dehradun, March 15 The weather in Uttarakhand has undergone a sudden change as intermittent rainfall continues across the state since Friday night. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert, forecasting active western disturbances in the region until March 17.
According to IMD Director Vikram Singh, regions above 3,200 meters in elevation are expected to witness snowfall and hailstorms. Additionally, several districts have been placed under a rain and thunderstorm warning, accompanied by strong winds.
