
Vivo has begun teasing the Vivo V70 series in India, which will include two models: the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. The official landing page on Vivo India’s website has unveiled the design and key specifications ahead of an expected launch in February.
Design and Display
The Vivo V70 series will feature an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Both models will sport an aluminium frame and come with IP68/69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Performance
The series will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It promises four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. According to the official teaser, the Vivo V70 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Earlier Geekbench leaks indicated the Vivo V70 might use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the V70 Elite would feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Both phones will come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, starting at 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory.
Camera Setup
The rear camera system includes a flagship-grade 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. Both models are expected to share this camera setup.
Battery and Charging
Both Vivo V70 and V70 Elite will be equipped with a 6,500mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting usage and quick recharge times.
