Mumbai, May 17: Television industry’s beloved couple, Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi, are currently experiencing a significant moment in their lives as they prepare to become parents. In a recent interview, Vivek shared his feelings upon learning about Divyanka’s pregnancy. Surprisingly, his first reaction was not joy, but anxiety.
Speaking about the moment, Vivek said, “As soon as I heard the news of becoming a father, I suddenly felt the weight of life’s big responsibilities. It was indeed a beautiful moment, but it also came with a sense of tension. The first thought that crossed my mind was that life was about to change completely. I would now have to think not just about myself but also about a new life.”
He added, “Initially, I wasn’t overly excited because the sense of responsibility overwhelmed me. For a while, I felt quite anxious. However, I gradually reassured myself that everyone reacts differently to such news. Some feel immediate joy, while others feel the pressure of responsibility first. It doesn’t mean I’m not happy. In fact, Divyanka and I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. We have always wanted to become parents.”
Vivek further explained, “After a few days, as the realization settled in, I began to appreciate the beauty of this new journey. This is a very special phase of life. I will always remember how anxious I felt when I first heard the news.”
He also discussed the changes in his relationship with Divyanka. “In recent months, our relationship has matured significantly. We now view things with greater understanding. People often say that the honeymoon phase ends after a child arrives, but what that really means is that life priorities change. The small arguments we used to have no longer seem as significant.”
He continued, “When a child is on the way, a person naturally becomes more responsible. A different kind of closeness develops in the relationship. Divyanka and I now pay less attention to minor issues because the new life ahead of us has become our top priority.”
Vivek also mentioned changes in his personal habits. “I have always been passionate about sports bikes. In the past, I rode fast without much thought, treating it merely as a hobby. But now, my perspective has changed. I have started to be more cautious without needing anyone to remind me.”
