Mumbai, April 23: Actor Vatsal Seth has taken on the role of writer for Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film, ‘Happy Birthday Joshi.’ The film’s narrative is inspired by the world’s first computer virus, serving as a metaphor throughout the story. Vatsal clarified that he used artificial intelligence (AI) merely as a tool in the filmmaking process, not as a storyteller.
‘Happy Birthday Joshi’ is a drama that uniquely explores the relationship between modern technology and human emotions. Vatsal believes that when used correctly and judiciously, AI can enhance storytelling, but the true storyteller must always be human.
He stated, “We are not creating something with AI just because it can provide stunning visuals. We use it as a smart and helpful tool to bring more meaningful and profound stories to life.”
Vatsal explained that AI allows him to explore storytelling possibilities that were previously limited due to budget constraints. He emphasized that AI helps create larger and more impactful narratives without compromising quality or emotional depth, instead strengthening the story. The film ‘Happy Birthday Joshi’ is inspired by true events.
Recently, Ajay Devgn unveiled the film’s first look on social media. The poster features a close-up of a hand holding a floppy disk with ‘Happy Birthday Joshi’ inscribed on it. The tagline reads, “Inspired by true events.”
The film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Danish Devgn under the Lens Vault Studios banner. Anshul Kumar Sharma is directing, while Sahil Nair serves as the creative producer. The background score is composed by Joel Crasto.
