Vandalism at Liquor Store in Lucknow Sparks Police Investigation

Lucknow, May 23: A case of vandalism has emerged from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, where an English liquor store was severely damaged on Saturday. Following a complaint from the store owner, police have initiated an inquiry and are questioning suspects. Authorities have made it clear that anyone found involved will face strict action.

According to police reports, the dispute began Saturday night between the cashier and Sanjay Yadav, the operator of a nearby canteen. The argument escalated, with Yadav threatening dire consequences, although he did not specify any individual during the threat. After the heated exchange, everyone returned home, believing the matter had settled down.

However, when store owner Manish Jaiswal opened the shop the next morning, he was met with a shocking scene. The store had been extensively vandalized, indicating that the damage was premeditated.

Moreover, the perpetrators also tampered with the CCTV footage inside the store and took the recording device with them. This suggests that the culprits aimed to conceal their identities and prevent police from gathering evidence against them.

Currently, police and forensic teams are on-site conducting investigations. Authorities are assessing the situation to understand the full scope of the incident. Police have reiterated that no suspect involved in this incident will be spared.
