Valmiki, Shabri, Kevat and Luv-Kush humiliated by dubbing Shri Ram as fiction: Sushil

Patna, April 15 : Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Rajyasabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi criticized former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi for dubbing Lord Sriram as fiction and said that raising fingers at forefathers for personal political gain was improper and this has humiliated Valmiki, Sabri, Kevat and Luv-Kush. Reacting at the statement of Jitan Ram Manjhi, chief of Hindustani awaam morcha (HAM), Sushil Modi said on Friday that Lord Rama was not only a symbol of our historical, cultural, traditions but was also our forefathers. He said that such illogical statement about Rama has hurt the sentiments of crores of Hindus which should have been avoided. The BJP leader said that apart from India the culture in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and several other countries were influenced and inspired by the tall personality of Lord Rama. Without taking the name of Jitan Ram Manjhi, the BJP MP said that such statement regarding Lord Rama amounts to humiliation of his devotees and such politics would never bring positive result. RS BM
