
Jaipur, May 20: The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur witnessed an electrifying performance from 15-year-old explosive batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi during the IPL 2026 match on Tuesday. Playing for the Rajasthan Royals, Suryavanshi scored a stunning 93 runs off just 38 balls, leading his team to a 7-wicket victory against the Lucknow Super Giants. His remarkable innings earned him the Player of the Match award.
After the match, Suryavanshi shared his thoughts in a video released by IPL on X, stating, “I feel great. It’s a moment of pride. It’s encouraging when so many senior players, former cricketers, and our coach talk to me. It boosts my confidence and helps my game.”
Suryavanshi emphasized his focus on maintaining his rhythm and playing positively in upcoming matches. “I’m in a good flow, and I believe it will continue into the next match. The more I contribute to the team, the better it will be for us,” he said.
He added, “We all wanted to do what we’ve been doing. We wanted to enjoy the game without putting too much pressure on ourselves. Our goal is to play well and focus on our strengths. That’s the focus for the next match. We’re not fixated on qualification; we’re just trying to improve day by day.”
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has astonished the cricketing world with his explosive and fearless batting. He currently holds the Orange Cap in IPL 2026, having scored 579 runs in 13 matches, including one century and three half-centuries.
