Dehradun, May 18: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has sent digital letters to newly appointed officials selected for government service over the past four years, wishing them a bright future.
In his letter, CM Dhami noted that he was entrusted with the responsibility of Chief Servant for the second time by the people of Uttarakhand in 2022. Since taking office, he has initiated a comprehensive recruitment campaign to address the issue of unemployment in the state by filling vacant positions in government departments. Over the past four years, the state government has appointed more than 30,000 young individuals as government servants, and this campaign will continue.
The Chief Minister emphasized that young candidates are now being selected for government service based on their exceptional talent and hard work. This fair selection process, supported by the state’s strict anti-cheating laws, ensures that young talent receives the recognition it deserves.
He further stated that being selected as a government servant is significant not only for the individuals and their families but also for the state government. CM Dhami urged the selected officials to perform their duties with integrity and honesty, always ready to serve the public with human values.
On this occasion, he also spoke with several selected youths over the phone, encouraging them to contribute enthusiastically to public service.
