
Noida, June 26: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Noida and the Yamuna Authority area on Saturday. During this visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for a total of 70 development projects worth ₹2,478 crores. This includes the inauguration of 5 projects costing ₹1,045 crores and the foundation laying of 65 projects valued at ₹1,434 crores. The Chief Minister’s visit is seen as a significant step towards enhancing infrastructure in Noida and its surrounding areas.
The Noida Authority has completed all preparations for the event. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) personally inspected the venue and security arrangements. Officials have been instructed to ensure that there are no shortcomings during the event. The Chief Minister will first inaugurate the newly constructed main administrative building located in Sector 96. Built at a cost of approximately ₹390 crores, this modern facility will house various departments of the Noida Authority under one roof, providing citizens with better and faster services.
Additionally, the Chief Minister will formally inaugurate an elevated road, approximately 5.5 kilometers long, from the Agahpur petrol pump to NSEZ, which cost ₹608 crores. Although this route was opened for trial in November 2025, the official inauguration will take place now. Various projects, including the laying of sewer lines and the construction of rainwater drains in different sectors, will also be inaugurated.
Key projects for foundation laying include the construction of a cloverleaf interchange near pillar number 59 on the Bhangeal elevated road, development of residential plots in Sector 145, construction of wider roads and drains, maintenance of civil and electrical works at the Dalit Inspiration Site, strengthening of Shahdara drain and various zonal roads, and road and culvert construction in sectors 8, 5, 9, and 10. Other projects include covering a drain up to Gijhor, installing noise barriers on the MP-2 elevated road, and renovating the Botanical Garden bus depot in Sector 38A. Several other development works will also have their foundations laid.
In anticipation of the Chief Minister’s arrival, a special helipad has been prepared in Sector 96. He will first arrive at Noida International Airport in Jewar at 1 PM on Saturday. There, he will lay the foundation for projects related to the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in Yamuna City and address a public gathering. Following this, he will travel by helicopter to Noida to inaugurate the administrative building and participate in an MSME program. For security reasons, police, PAC, and other security agencies have been deployed at the event site.
The bomb squad and dog squad have conducted thorough checks of the entire area to ensure the event proceeds peacefully and securely. According to the proposed schedule, the Chief Minister will arrive at Jewar Airport at 12:55 PM, lay the foundation for various industrial projects in Yamuna City, inaugurate the new administrative building in Sector 96 at 3:25 PM, and participate in the MSME program. He will hold a review meeting with the Public Works Department of the Meerut division at 4:30 PM before departing for Ghaziabad.
