
Lucknow, May 11: The newly appointed members of the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet received congratulations from state ministers on Sunday. They stated that the new team will work towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Developed India.’ There is also confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will secure an even larger majority in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed six new ministers and promoted two state ministers on Sunday. This move signals a clear intention to balance caste, regional, and organizational equations.
Responding to the cabinet expansion, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak emphasized that the new team will strive to fulfill Prime Minister Modi’s dream of a ‘Developed India.’ He stated, “Together, we will transform Uttar Pradesh into a developed state.”
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya added that they will work collectively for the welfare of Uttar Pradesh’s 250 million residents, addressing their needs and aspirations.
State BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary noted that the cabinet expansion had been pending for several days. State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna expressed confidence that the BJP would win the 2027 Assembly elections with a greater majority than in 2017.
Echoing similar sentiments, BJP MP Ravi Kishan remarked that the scale of the upcoming victory is unimaginable. He predicted that the BJP’s 2017 seat record in Uttar Pradesh would be broken, making history in 2027.
While congratulating the new ministers, Kishan expressed happiness that every class and community would now be represented in the state cabinet. He mentioned that both Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Adityanath wish for every community to feel that someone from their group stands for them and voices their concerns.
Minister Danish Ansari stressed that the cabinet has been entrusted with the significant responsibility of Uttar Pradesh’s development and progress. He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Adityanath, the double-engine government must fulfill its promise to serve the state with integrity. “We will work diligently to meet all standards in education, security, healthcare, employment, and industry,” he affirmed.
