Lucknow, March 24 : Uttar Pradesh Governor Aandiben Patel on Thursday accepted Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) claim to form the new government in the state and has invited caretaken Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to form the government. A delegation of the party led by state president Swatantra Dev Singh met the Governor and informed that Yogi Adityanath has been elected unanimously as the BJP legislature party leader in a meeting held on Thursday. It was requested that in the light on the fresh development directives should be issued for swearing in ceremony of Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Minister and his council of Minister. Accepting BJP’s request the Governor has organised a swearing in ceremony on Friday at Atal Bihari Vajpayee international cricket stadium, Lucknow. The Governor requested the delegation members to present a list of the members of the council of ministers so that oath can be administered to them in accordance with the Article 164(1) of the Constitution. Later, former Chief Minister and leader of the BJP LP Yogi Adityanath paid a courtesy visit to the Governor, who invited him to form the government. It may be noted that all arrangements have been made to make the swearing in ceremony a grand affair on Friday. Political heavy weights of the country will descend in Lucknow to witness the swearing-in ceremony. Prominent among the dignitaries, who will attend the event, include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The grand swearing ceremony will also be attended by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu as well as chief ministers of Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, Goa, Assam, Karnataka, Gujarat and other states. Besides this, prominent industrialists like N Chandrasekaran of Tata Group, Kumar Mangalam Birla of Aditya Birla Group, Anand Mahindra of Mahindra Group are also invited and are expected to grace the event. The entire stadium and its 500 meters radius has been decorated especially for the occasion adding to people’s excitement. The 200-metre pathway leading to the main entrance of the stadium is full of hoardings of PM Modi, BJP president JP Nadda, on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
