Kanpur, March 8 : Four persons were killed and two others seriously injured when a car collided with a truck head on in Bidhnu area on Tuesday. Police said that the incident took place near Tejipurwa Ramaipur village on Kanpur-Sagar highway when the car in a bid to overtake another vehicle collided with the truck. The impact was such that two persons sitting on the front seat were thrown out of the car and landed on the road, it said. Station House Officer Atul Kumar Singh rushed the injured to the comm ty health center by from where they were referred to Hallet Hospital in Kanpur where doctors declared Nitin Chaudhary, Awanish Pal, Sandeep Pal and Ramji Pal brought dead. The SHO said that the condition of two others Nitin Chaurasia and Dilip Kumar was stated to be serious and they were undergoing treatment. “The victims, all residents of Shivpur, were friends,” he said.
