Ultratech Cement trades higher on the bourses

Ultratech Cement is currently trading at Rs. 6556.10, up by 150.35 points or 2.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 6405.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6300.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6618.95 and Rs. 6300.00 respectively. So far 41987 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 7050.00 on 09-Apr-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3278.05 on 12-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 6618.95 and Rs. 6293.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 188894.78 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.10% and 8.40% respectively.

Ultratech Cement has reported a fall of 38.84% in its net profit at Rs 1,777.55 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 2,906.32 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 32.74% at Rs 14,049.99 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 10,584.22 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 45.21% in its net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 1,775.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 3,240.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 30.86% at Rs 14,465.94 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 11,054.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported a fall of 2.08% in its net profit at Rs 5,342.07 crore as compared to Rs 5,455.54 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 6.29% at Rs 43,977.02 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 41,375.75 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 5.08% in its net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 5,463.10 crore as compared to Rs 5,755.26 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.52% at Rs 45,459.97 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 43,080.95 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
