Udaipur Police Cracks Down on Late-Night Club Activity, Arrests 10 for Violating Norms at Drinks Exchange Club

Udaipur, Rajasthan โ€” In a late-night operation, Sukhair Police Station in coordination with the District Special Team conducted a surprise inspection at various clubs and bars in the region, enforcing the mandate to shut establishments within stipulated hours. The action comes as part of a broader drive to maintain law and order across Udaipur.

Club Found Operating Past Permissible Hours

At approximately 1:00 AM, the police team reached the Drinks Exchange Club located on Bhairavgarh Road, where they found the venue still operating with loud music playing in clear violation of local regulations. The authorities stated that the club was warned earlier to adhere to prescribed closing times, but the management failed to comply.

Upon inspection, the police detained 10 individuals working at the premises, including staff, under charges of disturbing public peace and violating conditions of operation.

District Police to Intensify Surveillance and Enforcement

District Superintendent of Police, Udaipur, confirmed the arrests and emphasized that the department will continue stringent checks at suspicious locations. He reiterated that action against law violators and miscreants will persist without leniency to ensure public safety and peace.

Public Urged to Support Crime Prevention

The SP further appealed to citizens to actively assist law enforcement by reporting any criminal activities or suspicious conduct. He assured that the identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential, encouraging community involvement in building a safer Udaipur.
