Udaipur Railway authorities have responded to increased passenger demand by adding two temporary second-class sleeper coaches to the Delhi Sarai Rohilla–Udaipur City Chetak Express. This move aims to ease crowding and improve travel comfort for passengers during February 2026.
According to Shashi Kiran, the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, train numbers 20473 and 20474, operating between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Udaipur City, will include these additional coaches for a limited period.
Specifically, train number 20473 from Delhi Sarai Rohilla to Udaipur City will have two extra sleeper coaches from February 1 to February 28, 2026. Similarly, train number 20474 from Udaipur City to Delhi Sarai Rohilla will carry the additional coaches from February 2 to March 1, 2026.
This initiative by Indian Railways is expected to provide relief to passengers facing heavy crowds and make journeys on the Chetak Express more comfortable during this period.
