Chennai, Mar 28 : Two new Judges–N.Mala and S.Sounthar–were today sworn in as Additonal Judges of the Madras High Court. Chief Justice M shwar Nath Bhandari administered the oath of office to the two new Judges, whose appointments were notified by the Centre a couple of days back. While Mala, who was also the government pleader for Puducherry, has over 32 years of standing, Sounthar has over 28 years of experience. With their appointment, the sitting strength of the High Court went up to 61, as against the sanctioned strength of 75. GV 1419
