Noida, May 11: The Jewar police in Greater Noida have achieved a significant breakthrough in the road rage and shooting case that occurred last month. They have arrested two wanted suspects who were on the run. The arrested individuals have been identified as Sagar, son of Jai Veer, and Sangeet, son of Prem Veer.
Both suspects were apprehended at the Vaina Budaka service road intersection. According to police reports, the incident took place on April 21. A dispute arose between the drivers of a heavy vehicle and a Swift car over yielding space on the road leading from village Dastampur to village Milk Karimabad, near a solar company. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, police swiftly arrested two suspects on April 23 and recovered illegal weapons from them. Since then, efforts to locate other fleeing suspects have been ongoing.
During the investigation on Sunday, police arrested the two additional suspects, Sagar and Sangeet, who had come to light. Police officials stated that both suspects are being interrogated, and the roles of other potential accomplices in the case are also under investigation.
The arrested suspect Sagar, a resident of Mangrauli Road in Jewar, has multiple criminal cases registered against him, including charges of assault, threats, rioting, and other serious offenses. The other suspect, Sangeet, hails from village Thoura and also has prior criminal cases.
