Mumbai : Two labourers died while working in the drain chamber of a society located at Moz College Road in Wagholi, Pune district. In this incident, a labourer has been admitted to the district government hospital in a state of unconsciousness, according to Wagholi police.
According to the police, at 6 am on Friday morning, the society officials were getting the drain chamber cleaned through a private contractor. The three workers fainted as soon as they entered the chamber. On getting information about this, Pune Municipal Corporation personnel and fire brigade personnel reached the spot. Fire brigade personnel pulled out all three. By then Nitin Prabhakar Gond (45) and Ganesh Palekar (28) had died.
