New Delhi, 29 August (Kiran News). The Supreme Court of India gained two new judges today. Both judges took oath as Supreme Court judges, with Chief Justice B.R. Gavai administering the oath. President Droupadi Murmu had ordered the appointment of both judges on 28 August. The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended their appointment on 25 August. With the swearing-in of these two judges, the total strength of judges in the Supreme Court, including the Chief Justice, has reached 34. The sanctioned strength of judges in the Supreme Court, including the Chief Justice, is also 34.
