Two held by Odisha STF, 52 kg Ganja seized

Bhubaneswar, April 15 : In a joint operation, the officials of the Special Task Force (STF) and Khordha Police have apprehended two drug peddlers and seized 52 Kg of ganja and other incriminating materials from their possession. STF sources here on Friday said acting on an intelligence report a joint operation was conducted by the STF and the Khordha Police on Thursday near the Khurda-Jatni bypass over a bridge, Mukundaprasad and two drug peddlers were arrested. STF identified the accused as Sudhir Lima of Tikamala under R Udayagiri Police station of Gajapati district and Sk Akash of Bada Basti, Under Pipili Police station of Puri district. During the search, Ganja weighing 52 kg and other incriminating materials were recovered and seized from their possession. A case has been registered at Khordha Town Police Station for necessary legal action. An investigation is on. BD DP ARN
