Deoria, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : Police in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, have arrested two suspects linked to a murder case in the Bhaluani police station area. The arrested individuals have been identified as China Ansari and Ambuj Vishwakarma. Following a lead from China Ansari, the police recovered the alleged murder weapon from a location on Sonadi Road.
Superintendent of Police Abhijit R. Shankar confirmed the arrests, stating that the suspects were taken into custody in connection with the murder case registered at the Bhaluani police station. According to China Ansari, the weapon used in the crime was hidden at a specific spot on Sonadi Road. Acting on this information, the police successfully retrieved the weapon.
In a dramatic turn of events early Sunday morning, as the police team was returning, a nilgai suddenly appeared in front of their vehicle, causing it to skid off the road and get stuck. While the team was trying to free the vehicle, China Ansari seized a sub-inspector’s revolver and attempted to flee, firing at the police in the process.
In response, the police fired back, injuring China Ansari in his right leg. He was promptly taken to a hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition. The revolver that was taken has since been recovered by the police, and necessary legal action is underway.
In a separate incident, police in Mau, Uttar Pradesh, apprehended a suspect involved in the theft of jewelry from a woman following an encounter. While one suspect, identified as Mayank Yadav, was arrested, his accomplices, Raja Rajbhar and Lala alias Yogendra Rajbhar, managed to escape under the cover of darkness. Authorities recovered the stolen jewelry, an illegal firearm, cartridges, and a motorcycle used in the crime from the arrested suspect.
