Trump made this statement on his social media platform, Truth Social, saying:
โAfter the fighting is over, the Gaza Strip will be handed over to the United States. By then, Palestinians will have already been resettled in safe and modern homes.โ

Israelโs Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has expressed support for Trumpโs idea. Posting on X (formerly Twitter), Gallant wrote:
