Lucknow, May 8: Uttar Pradesh’s Basic Education Minister (Independent Charge) Sandeep Singh stated that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the state government is effectively working towards developing foundational literacy and numeracy among children through the ‘Nipun Bharat Mission.’
He emphasized that early education forms a strong foundation for any nation’s future. The government is committed to providing quality, inclusive, and modern education to every child.
Minister Sandeep Singh addressed the ‘Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN)’ leadership conclave organized by Devi Sansthan (Dignity Education Vision International) in Lucknow on Friday.
The event saw participation from education sector experts, teachers, and representatives from various organizations. He noted that Uttar Pradesh is rapidly progressing towards its ‘Nipun’ goal, with a strong emphasis on developing children’s basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Innovative teaching methods are being adopted to enhance children’s language, math, and comprehension abilities.
The Basic Education Minister mentioned that the state government is continuously working to modernize and tech-enable schools. Thousands of schools in the state have established smart classrooms, ICT labs, and digital libraries, connecting students to digital learning systems. He stated that technology-based education is fostering creativity, learning capacity, and technical skills among children.
Sandeep Singh highlighted that the Yogi government is working towards making the new generation self-reliant and competitive through comprehensive reforms in the education system. He added that by incorporating technological innovations in education, students are being prepared to face future challenges, ensuring that every child in the state receives quality education to realize their dreams.
