Transformers and Rectifiers jumps on bagging order of Rs 235 crore from GETCO

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) is currently trading at Rs. 38.20, up by 2.90 points or 8.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 35.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 36.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 38.80 and Rs. 35.60 respectively. So far 118924 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 39.00 on 29-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 15.90 on 30-Mar-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 39.00 and Rs. 29.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 467.95 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.01% and 25.08% respectively.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has secured order of Transformers for total contract value of Rs 235 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO). The said orders fall under the normal course of business. The Company neither has any interest in these entities that awarded the orders nor fall within related party transactions.

With this order, the Company’s order book as on date stands around Rs 986 crore. The Company continuously thrives to deliver quality products and services and over a period of time has become a leading manufacturer of transformers in the Country.
