Gumla, February 23: In a shocking incident in Gumla district of Jharkhand, the bodies of a young couple were found hanging from a tree in the Kamdara police station area on Monday. The news spread quickly, causing a stir in the community. The police have taken possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem at Gumla Sadar Hospital.

According to family members, the girl had left home on the morning of February 21, claiming she was going to take a practical exam for her matriculation. The young man also left home that same morning.
When the two did not return by late evening, their families began searching for them. However, they found no clues for two days. On Monday, the bodies were discovered near the village.

Mukesh Kumar Suman, the officer in charge of Kamdara police station, stated that a bag and a water bottle were recovered from the scene.
