
Moradabad, June 16: A devastating accident occurred in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, where a state roadways bus ran over four individuals on motorcycles. Tragically, three people lost their lives, and one young man is in critical condition. This incident took place on Monday in the Katghar police station area.
The collision happened near the Gagan River on the Delhi bypass, where a speeding and out-of-control bus crashed into the motorcycle ahead of it.
The impact was so severe that all four motorcyclists were caught under the bus. The deceased include three-year-old Daniyal, a young woman named Mantasha, and another woman, Simran, who all died at the scene. The motorcycle rider, Junaid, sustained serious injuries.
Upon receiving the report, police from the Katghar station arrived promptly and rushed all victims to the district hospital. Medical professionals declared Daniyal, Mantasha, and Simran dead on arrival, while Junaid is currently undergoing treatment.
Initial reports suggest that all victims were residents of the Sambhal district. The scene of the accident was chaotic, prompting police to seize the bus and initiate an investigation into the matter.
According to police, Junaid was traveling to Kanpur with his wife, sister-in-law, and a small child when the accident occurred. The bus driver fled the scene, and authorities are actively searching for him. Further actions related to the case are underway.
