Kolkata, May 4: Leaders of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) have asserted that Mamata Banerjee will once again become the Chief Minister of West Bengal. TMC MP Dola Sen praised Banerjee as a true warrior and emphasized her genuine commitment to the welfare of the people.
Dola Sen expressed her admiration for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating, “Didi (Mamata Banerjee) is distinct from mainstream politics in every way. She is a true warrior and genuinely cares for the people. The common people know that whenever they face difficulties, Didi will stand by them.”
She further noted, “Didi is a very tough administrator. Many of our workers who engaged in wrongdoing have been sent to jail, and strict actions have been taken against them. Didi is a unique and fair Chief Minister who has ensured good governance for all.”
Meanwhile, TMC candidate and Kolkata Port Minister Firhad Hakim claimed that the TMC government will be reinstated in the state with Mamata Banerjee as Chief Minister.
Hakim stated, “We hope our government will be formed, and Mamata Banerjee will be the Chief Minister. That is our expectation. It is still very early in the process. We urge everyone to remain calm. We are confident that Mamata Banerjee will form the government again.”
TMC councilor and Mamata Banerjee’s sister-in-law, Kajari Banerjee, mentioned, “Didi has indicated that we will secure more than 200 seats, so we are hopeful of winning over 200 seats.”
TMC candidate Sayantika Banerjee also expressed confidence in winning the elections, stating that everything will turn out well. She visited the vote counting center at Guru Nanak Dental College during the counting of votes in North 24 Parganas.
