
Tim Drexler’s transfer to RB Salzburg is nearly finalised, according to reports from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg. The versatile 20-year-old defender’s loan spell at 1.FC Nürnberg has been cut short following a verbal agreement between TSG Hoffenheim and RB Salzburg.
The deal is expected to be completed shortly, with a permanent contract worth up to €2 million. Drexler will sign a long-term agreement with Salzburg, as confirmed by Sport BILD.
During the current season, Drexler has played in 13 out of 15 matches for Nürnberg in the 2. Bundesliga, contributing one assist. Prior to his loan, he made 21 appearances across all competitions for Hoffenheim.
