Sonbhadra (UP), March 19 : Three persons were killed and one was seriously injured when a car rammed into a tree in Babhani area of this district on Saturday morning. Police sources said that the incident occurred near Madhgugutra village on Varanasi-Chhattisgarh highway when the car driver lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a tree. “The victims, all residents of Chhattisgarh, were going to Rajasarai village in Babhani for traditional Holi puja. While two persons were killed on the spot, one died at the hospital,” they said. Police said that the victims have been identified as Manmati Dubey (70), Draupadi Dubey (55) and Naveen Dubey (24). “One Upendra Dubey (56) was seriously injured in the accident and has been referred to Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh for treatment,” they said.
