Tesla Unveils Halloween Mode for Model Y in India
Tesla India launches a Halloween-themed software update for Model Y, featuring spooky avatars, sounds, and more.

New Delhi, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : Tesla India announced a new software update for the Model Y and Model Y Long Range on October 30, 2026. This update introduces a range of Halloween-themed features aimed at enhancing the driving experience.
According to the company, this upgrade allows Tesla vehicles to receive new features and improvements remotely, eliminating the need for customers to visit service centers.
The Halloween Mode includes a ghost-themed vehicle avatar, Halloween-specific sound effects, unique lighting sequences, seasonal vehicle wraps, and themed lock sounds.
Additionally, the update features a “Trick or Treat Mode.” When activated, this mode triggers special sound and lighting effects when someone approaches the vehicle.
Other enhancements in the update include a photo booth function and voice messaging capability. Users can send messages through the Tesla app, and the vehicle will read them aloud in its own voice.
Customers can experience these new features at Tesla’s experience centers located across the country. Currently, these centers are operational in Noida, Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, with authorized collision centers in Pune and Ahmedabad.
Earlier in October, Tesla CEO Elon Musk showcased a new version of the Roadster sports car at a SpaceX facility in Texas. During the demonstration, the car briefly lifted off the ground before safely landing, leading to comparisons with flying cars.
