Terrorist Abdul Rahman Killed in Faridabad Jail Attack

Faridabad, February 9: A shocking incident has emerged from Faridabad district in Haryana. Abdul Rahman, a 20-year-old terrorist, was murdered while incarcerated in the local jail.

According to reports, the attack occurred within the prison, where another inmate assaulted him with a sharp object. Police spokesperson Yashpal Singh confirmed that the attacker is identified as Arun Chaudhary, a Kashmiri youth. He attacked Abdul Rahman on Sunday night, resulting in immediate death.

Notably, Abdul Rahman was apprehended on March 2, 2025, near Pali village, where he was found in possession of two hand grenades. He was allegedly plotting a bombing in Ayodhya. Reports indicate he hails from Milkipur in Uttar Pradesh.

Authorities discovered videos in Abdul Rahman’s possession containing sensitive information related to the Ram Temple. This led to his arrest by the Special Task Force (STF), who promptly defused the two grenades found with him.

The assailant, who attacked Abdul Rahman, had previously been incarcerated in a Jammu and Kashmir jail before being transferred to Faridabad. He was also held in a high-security barrack.

The murder of Abdul Rahman has raised serious concerns about security protocols within the jail. This is not the first instance of an inmate being attacked, yet such incidents remain alarming despite stringent security measures.

The police have initiated an investigation immediately following the incident. They are questioning all inmates present in the jail and working to identify any accomplices or potential supporters of the attacker. This event has created a stir in Faridabad district.
