Tenda has introduced its latest high-end router, the Taishan BE7200 Ultra, in the Chinese market. The new device supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard and is priced at 549 yuan (approximately $78), with a special launch offer available at 429 yuan (around $61).

The Taishan BE7200 Ultra offers dual-band Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, delivering a combined wireless speed of up to 7141Mbps. It features Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which enables compatible devices to send data simultaneously over both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The router runs on a quad-core 2GHz processor, providing performance up to 18,400 DMIPS.

Designed with a vertical chassis inspired by Mount Tai, the router includes five upright antennas and uses AI-based antenna management to detect connected devices and automatically adjust signal focus. This vertical design also helps enhance heat dissipation.

The router is equipped with nine high-power signal amplification modules—four for the 2.4GHz band and five for the 5GHz band. Tenda’s Xtra Range 3.0 Technology extends signal coverage by up to 30 metres on 2.4GHz and 4.5 metres on 5GHz compared to standard routers.

For wired connections, the BE7200 Ultra offers two 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports along with three Gigabit Ethernet ports. Additional features include NFC-based one-tap Wi-Fi access, AI voice-assisted parental controls through the Tenda Wi-Fi app, and a dedicated IoT network for isolating smart home devices. The router supports WPA3 security, IPv6, IPTV, and MRU anti-interference technologies.

In related developments, Dreame has recently launched its first Wi-Fi 7 router featuring a 2.5G Ethernet port and mesh networking support, and ZTE unveiled the WenTian BE7200 Max router, which also offers Wi-Fi 7 connectivity along with RGB lighting.
