Telangana Min urges ITServe Alliance to invest in state

Hyderabad March 23 : Telangana IT and Industries Minister K.T.Rama Rao on Wednesday urged the members of ITServe Alliance to explore investment opport ties in Tier 2 cities of the state and assured of all help to the prospective investors. Addressing a group of over 250 members of the ITServe Alliance on the topic “IT Investments in Telangana” in a meeting held at San Jose (US), Rao explained the steps taken up to promote IT in Tier 2 cities like building Plug & Play infrastructure. The Minister informed that IT Towers are now coming up in Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Siddipet, Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar. ITServe Alliance is a non-profit organization consisting of 1400+ Member Companies in the IT Staffing & Services Sector. It has 19 Chapters in 22 States across the USA. Total revenue of member companies is $10 Billion & these companies provide employment to 100,000 skilled IT specialists. Presenting a detailed overview of the journey of Telangana in the last seven years, he stated that under the able leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, the state has become the most successful startup of the country. Rao informed the audience about the series of steps taken by Telangana government to overcome teething troubles like power deficit and water shortage in the state. “We have brought in the Growth in Dispersion Policy and are also promoting IT in Tier 2 cities to reduce the burden on Hyderabad city,” the Minister added.
