Hyderabad, May 18: Telangana Chief Minister K. Revant Reddy extended his congratulations to V.D. Satheesan on his swearing-in as the new Chief Minister of Kerala on Monday.
Revant Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka attended the oath-taking ceremony held in Thiruvananthapuram. They wished the new Chief Minister success in leading Kerala to new heights of prosperity and development.
During the ceremony, Revant Reddy also met with Mallikarjun Kharge, the President of the All India Congress Committee, and Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
On social media platform ‘X’, Revant Reddy shared, “I respectfully met Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi at the oath-taking ceremony of V.D. Satheesan as the Chief Minister of Kerala.”
Earlier, Revant Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka also met with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.
Revant Reddy expressed, “Arriving in Kerala for today’s grand ceremony felt like a reunion with friends and colleagues.”
He added, “The atmosphere was filled with hope, energy, and enthusiasm. This energy will strengthen as we all work together towards our shared goal—the day our leader Rahul Gandhi takes the oath as Prime Minister of India.”
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka called it a historic day for Kerala. He warmly congratulated V.D. Satheesan and his new cabinet on their oath-taking.
He stated, “As Kerala embarks on a new journey of development, harmony, and public welfare, I am confident that the UDF government will provide people-centric and ideal governance. It was a pleasure to join the oath-taking ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram alongside Congress President Kharge, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Revant Reddy, and other senior leaders.”
