Chapra/Patna : RJD leader and Deputy Chief Minister Tejasvi Yadav, attacking the BJP, said that deaths had occurred due to the consumption of spurious liquor even when there was no prohibition in the state.
The BJP shared power for 15 years but did not say a word and now they are crying hoarse over deaths caused by the consumption of spurious liquor, he said and added that the BJP has no concern regarding prohibition and people died during their rule also. Liquor was seized from the house of a minister belonging to the BJP, he said.
Meanwhile, Saran civil surgeon Dr Dular Chand said that the death toll has risen to 21 and 60 others are seriously ill.
