Tejashwi Yadav Calls for Unity Against Bihar’s Challenges on Dussehra
Tejashwi Yadav highlights unemployment and corruption as Bihars major issues, urging citizens to unite for change on Dussehra.

Patna, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : On the occasion of Dussehra, Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, extended greetings to the people of Bihar while addressing the pressing issues of unemployment, illiteracy, poverty, and corruption. He likened these challenges to the ten-headed demon, Dashanan, calling for a collective commitment to eradicate them.
In his message, Yadav emphasized that Dussehra symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and urged everyone to pledge towards the development of Bihar and to bring about positive changes in the lives of ordinary citizens. He stated that issues such as unemployment, illiteracy, and corruption are hollowing out the state from within.
Yadav pointed out that Bihar remains the most economically backward state in India, with a significant portion of its population lacking access to basic facilities like quality education, roads, and healthcare. He raised concerns about the mass migration of workers to other states due to a lack of job opportunities, citing that nearly four million people leave Bihar annually in search of work.
He also discussed serious health concerns, noting a prevalent issue of anemia among women and children, along with a high incidence of stunting due to malnutrition. Yadav stressed the need for improved systems to tackle these pressing social and health challenges.
Addressing law and order, he highlighted recent incidents involving women that have drawn national attention, emphasizing the urgent need for effective crime control and enhanced safety measures for women.
On Dussehra, Yadav called on the citizens of Bihar to unite against the state’s challenges. He envisioned a system where every individual has access to work and every household thrives. He concluded by wishing the people of Bihar and all citizens across the country a heartfelt Dussehra.
