Wanaparthy, March 8 : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday said that the teaching in English medium will begin in all the government schools in the state from the next academic year. Speaking after launching “Mana ooru-mana Badi (our Village, our school) programme here, Rao said that the aim of the programme was to strengthen the public education system. Expressing happiness over the launch of the programme in Wanaparthy , the Chief Minister said all of us including myself reached to this position by studying in government schools. “We are standing in this position before you because of the education given by teachers”, he said. Stating that the schools will be constructed with all amenities, Rao asked all the students to utilize this opport ty for their good future. Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Exercise Minister Srinivas Goud, Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy, among others took part in the programme. Later, the Chief Minister inaugurated an integrated Collector Office here. He will address a public meeting in the evening after inaugurating Medical College buildings, official sources said.
