Tata Steel trades higher on divesting 19% equity stake in AI Rimal

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 103.25, up by 2.10 points or 2.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 101.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 102.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 103.80 and Rs. 101.75 respectively. So far 4098178 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 142.62 on 19-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 82.71 on 23-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 103.80 and Rs. 95.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 126206.37 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.06% and 24.24% respectively.

Tata Steel through its wholly-owned subsidiary — T S Global Holdings Pte has concluded the divestment of its 19% equity stake in AI Rimal to Tanmia on October 3, 2022. With this, the company’s shareholding is reduced from 70% to 51% in Al Rimal.

T S Global Holdings Pte (formerly T S Global Mineral Holdings Pte) had entered into an agreement with Oman National Investments Development Company (Tanmia) and the existing shareholders of Al Rimal to transfer its 19% shareholding in Al Rimal to Tanmia.
