Tata Power Company gains on the BSE

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 223.70, up by 0.15 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 223.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 220.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 225.25 and Rs. 219.70 respectively. So far 1502912 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 269.70 on 19-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.50 on 01-Feb-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 228.40 and Rs. 216.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 71527.68 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.50% and 21.63% respectively.

TP Southern Odisha Distribution (TPSODL), the joint venture between Tata Power and Odisha Government for power distribution in Southern Odisha, has completed the first year of its successful operations. Since its formation, TPSODL, in which Tata Power holds a 51% stake, has continuously invested in improving the power distribution infrastructure of southern Odisha and ensured reliable power supply to its customers.

In the last one year, TPSODL has undertaken several initiatives for strengthening the distribution infrastructure, adopting new technologies, and digitalizing its services to enhance customer experience.
