Tata Motors inches up on launching new variants of Harrier, Safari in India

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 295.30, up by 1.05 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 294.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 294.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 297.80 and Rs. 294.75 respectively. So far 122379 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 360.65 on 15-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 120.20 on 21-Aug-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 306.45 and Rs. 291.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 97700.06 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.90% and 17.32% respectively.

Tata Motors has launched new variants of its flagship SUVs Harrier and Safari in the country. The new XTA plus trims of the two SUVs come with various features including six-speed automatic transmission and panoramic sunroof. The Harrier and the Safari are collectively leading the high-end SUV segment with a 41.2 per cent market share as of Q1 of the current fiscal and the XTA plus variants will further add more dynamism to the entire offering, strengthening the portfolio in this fast-growing segment.
