Tata Coffee rises on entering into definitive agreement to sell immovable property in Telangana

Tata Coffee is currently trading at Rs. 223.10, up by 0.70 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 222.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 222.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 224.05 and Rs. 220.30 respectively. So far 53794 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 254.00 on 19-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 181.70 on 24-Feb-2022.

Tata Coffee Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 225.45 and Rs. 214.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4165.91 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.62% and 35.90% respectively.

Tata Coffee has entered into a definitive agreement of Sale for disposal of an immovable property situated in the State of Telangana, to a third party buyer (non-related party), and accordingly transferred all rights, title and interest over the said property including the possession, to the Buyer, for a sale consideration of Rs 150 crore, which has been fully received.

Tata Coffee is into the business of the finest Indian-origin green coffee beans, instant coffee and tea. It is also the largest corporate producer of Indian-origin pepper, intercropped with coffee in its estates.
