Tarun Chugh Responds to Revanth Reddys Remarks on Nitin Naveen

New Delhi, July 2: Tarun Chugh, the National General Secretary of the BJP, has sharply countered comments made by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy regarding BJP National President Nitin Naveen. Chugh stated that Nitin Naveen leads a party that has effectively diminished Congress to the size of a matchbox in the country. He asserted that the people of Telangana will uproot this ineffective government in the upcoming elections.

In an interview with a news agency, he remarked, “Nitin Naveen heads a party that governs in 22 states and has been in power at the center for three consecutive terms under the decisive and dynamic leadership of PM Modi.”

Chugh emphasized that Reddy’s arrogance is evident. He expressed confidence that the people of Telangana will reject this failing government in the next elections. Under PM Modi’s leadership and Nitin Naveen’s presidency, he believes they will secure a fourth consecutive majority in 2029.

As Congress leaders raise questions about the party’s standing ahead of the Punjab elections, Chugh commented, “There is a significant rift between the ‘Mahaparikramavadis’ and ‘Parikramavadis’ within Congress, as the ‘Parakramavadis’ have already left the party.”

He criticized Congress for its dynastic politics, arrogance, and dictatorship, stating that incompetent and failed leaders are now dancing to the tune of a foreign toolkit. He pointed out that those who cannot manage their party are dreaming of running the country.

Regarding a letter from over 100 prominent citizens of India and Pakistan urging PM Narendra Modi and Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif to resume bilateral talks and restore normal relations, Chugh remarked, “The Gupkar gang is playing the role of a PR agent for Pakistan instead of condemning its anti-India actions. Terrorism and dialogue cannot coexist. Some individuals are scheming daily to demoralize Indian security forces and armed forces. They continuously plot to please their foreign masters, but they will never succeed.”

This response comes after Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy claimed at an event in Hyderabad that it took the BJP 15 years to win the Bengal Assembly elections, suggesting that the same fate awaits them in Telangana. Reddy stated, “Recently, someone named Naveen came here claiming the next government will be theirs. You said the same about Bengal, but it took you 15 years to form a government there. Here, all our people are ready, and they will crush you.”
