Tapase criticises MNS chief

Mumbai, Apr 3 : Chief spokesperson of NCP in Maharashtra, Mahesh Tapase, on Sunday criticised MNS chief Raj Thackeray for coming down heavily on the ruling MVA state government during his party’s Gudi Padva rally on Saturday. In a press statement, he said that Raj Thackeray’s speeches were only meant to entertain the masses without any political message for the party workers, leaving them directionless. “It is not difficult to guess who wrote the script of Raj Thackeray’s speech yesterday and that is why the people of Maharashtra are now beginning to understand that BJP is forming a new ‘B’ team in the form of MNS to divide votes in forthcoming m cipal elections,” he said and expressed surprise about Raj Thackeray forgetting the performance of MVA during the corona crisis. In the last two-and-a-half years, the Maha Vikas Aghadi government has had overcome many challenges, Tapase added. VKB SS 1743
