As per the daily official bulletin, Chennai continues to show stable numbers although it still heads the list accounting for 1107 cases followed by Thiruvallur with 486 and Tirunelveli with 387.
88 deaths were reported on Tuesday – 24 of them in Chennai followed by 8 in Thiruvallur and 7 in Thoothukudi- taking the state’s total tally to 3659 .
The total number of cases in Tamil Nadu as of July 28 stands at 2,27,688.
4707 patients were discharged on Tuesday taking the total number of recoveries in Tamil Nadu to 166,956.
