Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay will celebrate Childrens Day with schoolchildren in Ambasamudram on November 14.

Ambasamudram, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay is set to celebrate Children’s Day on November 14 in Ambasamudram, located in the Tirunelveli district. This event is part of a series of proposed visits to assembly constituencies ahead of upcoming by-elections.
The celebration will include the distribution of cakes to schoolchildren. The tender process for cake procurement has been completed, with a focus on ensuring the quality of the cakes for distribution. Each cake will weigh 45 grams, and quality checks are being conducted at the suppliers’ facilities.
According to the proposed itinerary, Vijay plans to visit Viralimai and Perundurai on November 2 and 3, respectively, before heading to Ambasamudram on the 14th. Reports suggest that he will also conduct similar visits in other constituencies facing by-elections, although detailed schedules for these locations have yet to be released.
The highlight of the November 14 visit will be Vijay’s participation in the Children’s Day program. However, details regarding the event’s venue, participating schools, and schedule have not yet been disclosed. Children’s Day is celebrated across India on November 14.
In Tamil Nadu, the government has decided to distribute cakes to school students on this occasion. Inspections for quality assurance began on October 26, with officials instructed to report any deficiencies immediately to headquarters. The aim is to ensure that the cakes meet the established quality standards before distribution.
While the total quantity ordered, purchase costs, and the number of students benefiting from this initiative have not been revealed, the proposed schedule indicates that Vijay’s activities in November will start in Viralimai and Perundurai, followed by the Ambasamudram visit. This celebration is gaining political significance due to its connection to the broader tour of constituencies preparing for upcoming elections.
As of now, the announced dates outline the Chief Minister’s proposed visits, while further details regarding the celebrations in schools and other related events are still awaited.
