Tamil Nadu 10th Board Results to be Announced on May 20, Schools Reopen on June 1

Chennai, May 18: A significant update has emerged for students eagerly awaiting the 10th board results in Tamil Nadu. The state government has announced that the results of the public examination for Class 10 will be declared on May 20. This announcement brings an end to the anticipation for nearly 900,000 students.

State School Education Minister Ambil Mahesh Poyyamozhi clarified that schools across the state will reopen on June 1, following the summer break. Additionally, a training program for teachers regarding the revised curriculum will be conducted from June 1 to June 3.

The public examinations for Class 10 in Tamil Nadu were held from March 11 to April 6. Approximately 900,000 students participated, including 882,806 regular students and 13,744 private candidates.

After the examinations concluded, answer sheets were evaluated at various centers across the state. Officials recently began uploading students’ scores into the computer system after completing the evaluation process. The final stages of result preparation and data processing have been ongoing for the past few days.

Officials from the School Education and Examination Department have been busy preparing for the announcement of results. Once all procedures are completed on schedule, the minister confirmed that the results will be officially released on May 20.

Students will be able to view their examination results online by entering their registration number and date of birth on the official government website.

Furthermore, the minister provided insights into preparations for the upcoming academic session. He stated that the state government has already introduced new textbooks for students in grades 1 to 3, aiming to strengthen primary education.
