Tamang meets Sikkimese students in Delhi

Gangtok, April 17 : Sikkim Chief Minister P S Tamang on Sunday met 20 Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students, particularly the Sherpas, in Delhi. Those students from Sikkim have been selected for undergoing free-of-cost one-year coaching. They will be appearing for all India Competitive examinations. The Akhil Bhartiya Dayanands Sewa Sharam and CM’s sponsorship has been granted to the students undergoing the coaching. Tamang urged them to study with dedication Before his interaction with the students, Tamang met some patients from Sikkim who are undergoing treatment in Delhi. “I met the Sikkimese patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals in Delhi. According to their requirement assisted them (financially),’ said the CM, who also assured further support from the State Govt for their treatment. NN SSP
