Swami Paramahamsa Sachchidananda Maharaj Passes Away at 102

Bhopal, February 8: Swami Paramahamsa Sachchidananda Maharaj, the revered founder of the Dharkundi Ashram in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, passed away on Saturday at the age of 102. He breathed his last at a hospital in Mumbai. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed his sorrow over the demise of the esteemed spiritual leader.

Dr. Yadav stated that Swami Paramahamsa Sachchidananda Maharaj dedicated his entire life to service, meditation, and the welfare of humanity. He prayed to Baba Mahakal to grant the departed soul a place at His feet and to provide strength to the grieving followers to endure this immense loss.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, CM Mohan Yadav described the news of the swami’s passing as deeply saddening. He emphasized that the swami’s life was entirely devoted to service and the betterment of humanity. He prayed for the departed to find a place in the divine realm and for the followers to have the strength to cope with their sorrow. Om Shanti.

Upon hearing the news of Swami Paramahamsa Sachchidananda Maharaj’s passing, a wave of grief swept through his millions of devotees across the country. His mortal remains were transported from Mumbai to the Dharkundi Ashram in Chitrakoot, where followers and admirers paid their last respects with tearful tributes. The ashram will hold a final viewing on Sunday, and, in accordance with tradition, the swami will be laid to rest on Monday.
